Our commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing

Every child and young person has the right to be safe, respected and heard.

At JC Action Sports, our Christian faith shapes how we care for young people. We put children’s safety and wellbeing first in our school and church programs, at camps and community events, and online.

We do not tolerate abuse, neglect, bullying, racism or any other harm. We commit to screening and training our team, setting clear boundaries and planning activities to reduce risks. We respond promptly and report concerns to authorities when required.

We welcome children of every background, belief and ability. We are committed to the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. We respect their identities, cultures and connections to family, community and Country. We listen to children and families and use their feedback to make our programs safer.

Speak up about safety

If something feels wrong, tell a JC team member or an adult you trust. You can bring someone with you. We’ll listen and take you seriously.
